This class was designed with healing and daily care at its core. It is an ideal class for those living with Parkinson's, fibromyalgia, arthritis, scoliosis, and other chronic aches and pains. Beginners welcome. Great for athletes too!
A slow paced practice designed for those who want to stretch their muscles in a gentle way. Props and supports are utilized and modifications are provided for every posture. Once settled comfortably and safely into the posture focus turns to breath, resulting in a mindful and peaceful practice. All postures practiced in the chair or standing using the chair as support. There is no floor work in this class.
A flowing practice guided by the breath. This class is sequenced mindfully to emphasize the transitions between poses. Modifications are provided so that practitioners can choose their own level of practice. All levels, beginners to advance
Mindful movement and deep relaxation. This class incorporates props such as bolsters, blankets, blocks and straps to gently release of muscles in fully supported postures. A wonderful opportunity to experience true rest and the restoration of body, mind and soul. Appropriate for beginners, seniors, pregnant women or those looking to slow down and look within.
This slow flow class is accommodating to both the beginner and the advanced practitioner. We will take time to explore the poses, as well as, find a gentle flowing movement.
Yin yoga will focus on slow meditative poses that will be held for two to seven minutes, working to release the connective tissues of the body. Yin yoga helps to increase circulation and improve flexibility. This class is a wonderful addition to any exercise program. Beginner and advanced practitioners benefit from the unique sequencing and focus of this this class.
