I am originally from Santa Fe, Missouri, a town with a population of 28. My parent’s farm is
located 8 miles outside of Perry. I attended Hannibal LaGrange College for my undergraduate
studies and then attended the University of Missouri School of Law. My husband and I reside in
Perry with our three daughters. Avenues is my charity because I have seen the valuable
services that domestic violence shelters provide in the world of juvenile and family law. As a
community we all work together to care for the most vulnerable among us. Yoga is, and has
been, an amazing opportunity for me to exercise my body and quiet my mind. My favorite pose
is Headstand (and it really impresses my kids.)
